Harry Henry Timbs, 80, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014. He was born March 21st, 1934 in Hot Springs to Harry Alonzo and Lillian Price Timbs.



Family was most important to Henry. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and really enjoyed teaching his kids all the tricks of a handyman. Harry Henry Timbs, 80, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014. He was born March 21st, 1934 in Hot Springs to Harry Alonzo and Lillian Price Timbs.



Family was most important to Henry. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and really enjoyed teaching his kids all the tricks of a handyman. Hunting was a favorite hobby, having been a member of the BMW Hunting Club for several years. After over twenty years of service, he retired from the Hot Springs School District. He always put others before himself.



In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Cecil Timbs; and five sisters, Louise Timbs, Janiece Timbs, Juanita Bradford, Shirley Dugan, and Rachel Davis.



Cherishing his memory are Juanita Gilbert Timbs, his wife of nearly 55 years; his children, Steve Timbs of Moro, Arkansas and Lisa Timbs Humpreys of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Lane Humphreys, Jennifer (Brian) Willimas, Deanne Jones, Robyn Mulloy, Hailey Humphreys; great grandchildren, Addi Williams, and Avery Jones; and a host of special friends.



Graveside services will be held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, May 3rd, 2014 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Rev. David B. Wilson officiating, under the direction of Gross Funeral Home.



The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday in the chapel of Gross Funeral Home.



The family wishes to express their gratitude to Shelli Mason, the staffs of National Park Hospital and Lake Hamilton Health and Rehab for all of the love and care that Henry received.
