Helen Pearl Wheatley Trussell, known as Pearl, passed away on August 10th in Hot Springs after a brief illness. She was 100 years old. Pearl was a lifetime resident of Hot Springs and an inspiration to many through-out her life. She had a great wit and always a smile for everyone. She had the ability to lift your spirits as well as a way of always letting you know her opinion. She loved the Lord and was a devoted and beloved member of the Hot Springs Baptist Church.

Pearl is survived by her son, Charles (Chuck) Trussell from Houston, nephew Steve Baldwin and wife Bobbie, nephew Eric Wheatley and wife Maurie, and Jenny Peck, aunt by marriage. A memorial service will be held at the Hot Springs Baptist Church. Arrangements are pending with Gross Funeral Home
